2006-07 (Junior):
Swam backstroke this season...beginning with a 1:02.97 in the 100 yard backstroke and a spot on the 400 yard freestyle relay that swam a time of 3:38.38 (10/29 vs. UMAINE)...swam a time of 1:03.04 in the 100 backstroke and was on the 200 yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:50.41 (11/11 vs. Springfield)...swam a time of 54.87 in the 100 yard freestyle (11/18 vs. Fordham and Duquesne)...mid-season he finished 5th in the 100 yard backstroke with a time of 59.37 (12/2 Harold Anderson Invite.)...he swam a 1:00.27 in the 100 yard backstroke and was on the 400 yard freestyle relay with a time of 3:30.56 (2/3 vs. BC)...swam a time of 22.65 in the 50 yard freestyle and a 58.10 in the 100 yard backstroke (2/24 Atlantic Ten Championships).
2005-06 (Sophomore):
Started off the 05-06 season with a time of 1:04.40 in the 100 Backstroke and 57.17 in the 100 Freestyle (10/29 vs. UMaine), 24.70 in the 50 Freestyle (11/2 vs. Providence)... At the Harold Anderson Invitational he swam legs in the 3rd place 200 Freestyle Relay, sixth place 200 Medley Relay, and seventh place 400 Freestyle Relay... He also placed eighth in the 100 Backstroke with a time of 1:00.23... At the R.I. Invitational he was part of the eighth place 200 Freestyle Relay... Eld consistently improved on his times through out the season, ending with a high note at the A-10 Championships when he had season best times in the 50 Freestyle (22.78), 100 Freestyle (51.37) and 100 Backstroke (58.59).
Personal:
graduated from Lacey Township High School where he participated in swimming and soccer... was part of the National Honor Society..received Most Valuable Player honors in swimming... intends on becoming a Pharmacist...works as a lifeguard over the summer.
