2007-2008: Placed fifth in both the 200 yard IM with a time of 1:53.99 and in the 400 yard IM with a time of 4:05.42, was a member of the team who broke the URI varsity record and placed seventh (6:52.64) in the 800 yard freestyle medley, the 200 yard freestyle relay team who also placed seventh (1:25.25) and the 400 yard medley relay team who placed sixth (3:25.64) at the 2008 Atlantic 10 Championships.
2006-07 (Junior):
Continued to swim distance freestyle this season and began with on the 200 yard medley relay team that finished second with a time of 1:40.02, finished 1st in the 200 yard backstroke with a time of 2:00.22, and placed second in the 200 yard IM with a time of 1:58.82 (10/29 vs. UMAINE)...finished 1st in the 1000 yard freestyle with a time of 9:47.25 and 3rd in the 500 yard freestyle with a time of 4:46.84 (11/18 vs. Fordham and Duquesne)...mid-season he finished 1st in the 1000 yard freestyle with a time of 9:50.15 and 1st in the 200 yard butterfly with a time of 1:54.51. He was on the 200 yard freestyle relay that finished 1st with a time of 1:27.39, finished 1st in the 400 yard IM with a time of 4:08.85, and finished 1st in the 1650 yard freestyle with a time of 16.13.85 (12/2 Harold Anderson Invite)...was on the 200 yard medley relay that swam a time of 1:34.86, swam a 1:53.90 in the 200 yard butterfly, finished 9th in the 1650 yard freestyle with a time of 16.20.68, and set a school record in the 400 yard IM with a time of 4:03.28 (2/24 Atlantic Ten Championships).
2005-06 (Sophomore):
Was one of the team's most valuable swimmers in his second year at URI... Began the season with 10:03.92 in the 1000 Freestyle, 2:02.75 in the 200 Freestyle, 2:03.82 in the Individual Medley (10/29 vs. UMaine), 2:04.39 in the 200 Butterfly, and 4:59.68 in the 500 Freestyle (11/2 vs. Providence)... At the Harold Anderson Invitational he was part of the first place 200 Freestyle Relay team and second place 400 Freestyle and 400 Medley Relay teams... He also performed well on an individual level, taking home three first place finishes in the 200 I.M. (season best time of 1:57.79), 400 I.M. (4:15.26), and 500 Freestyle (4:45.10)... At the R.I. Invitational he took home a first place finish in the 1000 Freestyle (9:55.95), third in the 400 I.M. (4:17.05), and fifth in the 200 Breaststroke (season best 2:16.85)... He was also part of the third place 400 Free Relay team... In the 1/28 meet vs. Boston University he had season bests in the 1000 Freestyle (9:52.39) and 200 Butterfly (1:57.40)... Against Boston College (2/4) he had a season best time of 1:46.80 in the 200 Freestyle... Sheatsley ended his 05-06 season competing at the Atlantic 10 Championships where he had three season best times... He placed tenth in the 500 Freestyle (4:38.54), seventh in the 400 I.M. (4:09.26), and fourth in the 1650 Freestyle (16:09.59).
2004-2005 (Freshman):
Led the Rams taking first place in 3 events, the 1000 yard freestyle, in a time of 9:43. 84, the 400 Yard IM in a time of 4:10.18 and the 200 Yard backstroke in a time of 1:59.48.. He was aslo 1st Place in Men 200 Yard Freestyle with a final time of 1:47.50 against Maine...Took 1st place in the 200 Yard IM with a Final Time of 2:00.40...3rd place in the Team 200 Yard Medley Relay, with a Team Final Time of 1:45.31

Born on January 14, 1986 to Don and Lindy Sheatsley...Graduated from Parkland High School...majoring in Mechanical Engineering...works as a lifeguard over the summer...enjoys listening to music and hanging out with friends.
