KINGSTON, R.I. - University of Rhode Island sophomore gymnast Ananda Fraser (Diego Martin, Trinidad) is this week's recipient of the ECAC Coaches Choice Award.

Against Brown University last week, Fraser matched her career-high score of 9.825 on the floor exercise before dislocating her shoulder on her last tumbling pass. She was able to recover in time to compete in and win the vault with a score of 9.700.

This marks the second time Fraser has been honored by the ECAC. Last week, she was named ECAC Gymnast of the Week.

The Rams return to action Friday evening when they travel to Williamsburg, Va. to face the Tribe of William & Mary.
