Women's Rowing
The 2007-08 season marks Bridgid Myers' second year with the Rhode Island rowing program. Myers serves as an assistant varsity coach and head novice coach at URI, after spending two seasons in the same capacity at Northeastern. A 2003 Wisconsin graduate with a degree in psychology and a minor in women's studies, she was a two-time All-Big Ten selection and team captain in 2002. She was a volunteer assistant coach in her fifth year, working with the novice program. Myers also recently spent a year as the Assistant Director of Programming for Community Rowing , Inc.- a public rowing club in the greater Boston area. She, along with URI's other assistant coach Jessica Lizzi, were responsible for coordinating the daily operations and programming for the club's 1,200+ members. She spent a season at Boston College from 2003-'04 as the head novice coach, before heading to Northeastern in 2005. updated: 8/7/07 |
