Novice Q/A Form

KINGSTON, R.I - The Rhode Island women's rowing team is inviting walk-on athletes to try-out for the team this fall.  No rowing experience is required. 

 

URI Women's Rowing is a Division I Varsity sport.  Novice athletes will learn all aspects of rowing in the fall and will compete in several races throughout the year. Novice student-athletes will also be eligible for invitation to the team's winter training trip in Deland, Fla. 

 

Those interested should attend one of the informational meetings, held Thursday, Sept. 6 at 6:30 p.m. or Friday, Sept. 7 at 4:00 p.m.  Both meetings will be held in Room 318 of the Memorial Union.
