Attended the NTCA conference in Ohio in November and continues to compete as a post-collegiate athlete in the weight and hammer throw ... Placed fifth in the hammer at the USA Outdoor Nationals recording a best mark of 215'5" ... earned USATF Level II throws coaches certification in the summer of 2006 ... ranked by Track and Field News as the number seven hammer thrower in the country for 2006.

Married to URI men's assistant coach Derek Yush in July of 2006. Originally from Northwood, NH... full time physical education teacher at Montville High School in C.T.... is a Level II USATF certified throws coach.
